No need to apologize. This thread has developed into the place where regular posters to Caroline's forum socialize in general. I see it as an important catalyst in making Caroline's forum what it is: A pleasant place to hang out with friends.

So I got my youtube account disabled with the warning of "never create a new account" posted with it. Impersonation was the thing that did me in after 5 years. I have lost all my good shit, and I'm pretty pissed off about it.

Not to mention a great place to discover the latest information on the life habits of, and ecological methods of preventing the life of, the humble Cucaracha...

That I'm not gonna say, but it was a highprofile politician. And it took them 5 fucking years to to figure out. And I was told that I was reported? Yeah right!

And I never abused the name.

Why could they not just give the option of changing the username? I would have gladly done that. But the email I got from them (yeah, do be evil, Google) was pretty specific in its finality of the thing. No appeal!

Have you ever known anyone like this(?) :

Hustler: Hey could you take this bag down to Ranleagh Court Apartments(tenement housing) at 7:00 pm for me?There'll be a guy waiting for you out front
Stooge:SURE!!What's in the bag?
Hustler: Ohhh....just some diapers for my baby's muvver(translation: mother)
Stooge: Okay,whatever you say

Later,as the hustler suspected, there's a crew of undercover cops waiting, and the stooge--who doesn't even know the full name of the guy he did the favor for--has no alibi for why his supposed bag of diapers is actually filled with several kilos of cocaine.Basically,THAT's Ned

Re: On the Concept of Irony w/ Continual Reference to Caro:Off-topic 4 the POPULAR #1

Hope that I'm not hurting anyone's feelings too much here but,in my experience, most all of the proud, professing Ignore List users at TF are simpletons.Virtually w/o fail, when I see someone post that they've put me on his/her Ignore List,I say to myself,'GOOD!If I ever appealed to mental midgets like yourself,THEN I'd start worrying."....It's like a blessing in disguise;if a pedophile or rapist called you a sick, perverted person, then it would serve as a compliment b/c such a lowlife wouldn't know the first thing about decency...and the exact OPPOSITE of their statement would be true.

To be fair,I can understand using the tool if a poster chooses to frequent GM and gets a tidal wave of posts in his/her inbox from a post-whore who repulses him/her...but,if you only get occasional posts from the boor in between the ones you want to read, just skip over them when you see the poster name...it's not Rocket Science
