Hmmm...Federer now up 2 sets to 0. I wonder whether we're gonna see a repeat of Fed's Wimbledon quarterfinal against Tsonga or end up seeing a repeat of the French Open with Fed beating Djokovic only to lose to Nadal, who probably would have lost to Djokovic, in a very headcase/choky fashion.

Re: On the Concept of Irony w/ Continual Reference to Caro:Off-topic 4 the POPULAR #1

I can not believe how badly Federer is choking this match away. I thought for certain when he was serving for the first set tiebreak at 6-3 and it went to 6-4 that he had lost it but he pulled it off and then won the second set. Now it is pretty much a certainty that he will lose in five.

I just want him to win one more slam. The French Open this year would have been perfect but I guess even a 5-2 lead in the first set is not enough for him to beat Nadal.

I, on the other hand, am hoping for a Murray slam.

Djokovic wins the 4nd set. I think it's pretty important for Fed that he doesn't get broken in his opening service game like he did in sets 3 & 4.

Wow. Fed with 2 match points on his serve at 5-3 5th set only to be broken on a double fault.

5-3 Federer. 40-15 on his serve. Two match points. And he blows it? I am done with him! Novak is taking this set and the match 7-5.

I'm sorry but this is so much better than WTA tennis.

Too bad Roger choked the match away...

Sigh. So pathetic Chokerer. Djokovic holds for 7-5 5th set at 40-15.

Yeah, maybe, but ONLY these three guys(including Rafa),Honda...the rest are eminently forgettable(see sig below).I'd rather watch the beauty and grace of the mediocre Rus than sit thru obnoxious,high-ranked ass smegma like Roddick or Isner

PARTY IN THE PANIC ROOM! Serena wins an undoubtedly clean #22

Congrats on Number Three, Kim! We need more of you in this world

Yeah... sure.

ATP tennis pretty much starts with the SF...

and you're right... Murray is one of the scrubs, too.

Go Novak! Now beat Nadal for the 5th (or is it 6th) time in a row in the final.

That return at 15-40 was a rocket!

Beat Nadal in the final?? What about his Semi-Final? C'mon Murray.

Caroline Wozniacki

Chris Evert, Steffi Graf, Kim Clijsters

Sorry. Didn't mean to offend.

I'm just sure that Nadal will take care of business here.

And that has happened far too often in recent years. AO final against Nadal 2009, USO final against del Potro 2009, USO semi against Djokovic 2010, FO final against Nadal 2011, USO semi against Djokovic 2011. It can happen to anyone, but recently it has happened much too freÇuently for the GOAT.
