DRUNKnieszka DRUNKwanska

Starts at 1:26
The interview made on January 2009:

And when will you win Wimbledon? Fundamental question...
And when you will work in New York Times?
Good question!
Exactly. I'm not a fortune-teller here. I would certainly like to win this year but... it's the question that nobody knows the answer.
Which opponent you're most afraid of... who's the toughest one?
All TOP50.
But you're TOP10.
It doesn't matter. The one ranked 18 also can play tennis.
The one ranked 50 too.
Too, unfortunately too. Such a competition.
People gossip that you used your own stylist to prepare to this evening.
Yes... In fact the stylist - Ania Pochobień - helped me to design this dress. We designed it together...
It's the common design?!
Yes.. common design... I mean we negotiated. I told her what I liked, she told me her opinion and we made such a little dress... and I feel very good in it.
Why such a colour?
Because now it's in fashion, you know... and it's my favourite one.
Your favourite one?
Yeah... well... one of many.
Cause on the court you cannot wear such a colour.
Why not...? Who told you so?
Exactly. What's the on-court fashion. I don't really know... white skirt and white T-shirt?
Well... If you mean Wimbledon, you're right but in general you can play in which colour you want. No matter if black, pink or purple... Provided you win a match.
One more question. They call you Isia. Why?
It's such my nickname. It begun when I was a child I couldn't say my name. I spoke it 'Isia' and that's why.

Doesn't look drunk to me. She's fun. I like her.

It's taken at the same time, I guess...

Winter Is Coming

"Fine words." Tyrion was unimpressed. "Words are wind. Who is this bloody savior?"
"A dragon." The cheesemonger saw the look on his face at that, and laughed. "A dragon with three heads."

Re: DRUNKnieszka DRUNKwanska

1. For me either she was a little like tipsy or she has a way of talking as if she was
2. Maybe it was on Aga's forum but without translation so I decided to translate it.

Re: DRUNKnieszka DRUNKwanska

I appreciate the translation Martin-Ula! It's a lot more enjoyable to watch when I have an idea of what she is saying. Yes, she isn't drunk, but she has a way of talking as if she is, as they say, "letting her hair down". It's the kind of attitude a lot of girls adopt when they go to parties, they let themselves relax and be free. Agnieska's version of this attitude is rather charming.
