Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

2R looks easier than 1R for Agnieszka

Vandeweghe, later if she wins - Babos / Andreescu (I bet on Andreescu), in QF Wozniacki.

6-3 6-2

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than coming home to discover Aga has straight-setted Vandemort again. Coco is lost against her on hardcourts.

Promising performance and 3rd Top20 win of the year. She's happy and looks to be a much more healthy weight now than she did a few months ago.

Oh ... I forgot that draw is bigger - I thought it was like in Stanford ... and there are 6 MD rounds overall.

Not easy to make deep run for Aga - as such I'd consider making SF. I'd like Agnieszka to win this tournament Unlikely but ... everything can happen and Aga won many bigger tournaments than this one already (in better form though). She really has nothing to lose here imo. Maybe bar Pliskova still being her pigeon

So to make one of Karo Pliskova dreams come true

Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

Aga into Toronto R3 !

R1: (10) Aga def. Vandeweghe 6-3 6-2
R2: (10) Aga def. Babos 6-0 6-1

Aga played well in both matches, but I also have to mention that Vandeweghe had a bad day (weak serve + movement) and Babos is only a mediocre player

Next round is the real test vs #6 seed Caroline Wozniacki !

Serena: "We have great personalities like Jelena (Jankovic) on the tour."
Jelena: "If I had to pick someone after me, I'd pick Serena."

Good Luck

Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

Expected loss. Wozniacki just exposing Agas lack of confidence and lack of preparations.

Last year she outwinnered Woz in their 3 matches. Now its just sad, her groundies are non existent. Im not even dissapointed waiting for her to find some form.

Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

Aga lost 3-6 1-6 to Wozniacki !

Caroline leads Head To Head against Aga now 11-6

Bad performance from Aga. Not sure what's wrong. She has totally lost her form

Aga was very lucky with her draw anyway
Coco in R1 played a poor match: Served weak, moved bad, many UEs
And Babos in R2 is simply only a mediocre player

Serena: "We have great personalities like Jelena (Jankovic) on the tour."
Jelena: "If I had to pick someone after me, I'd pick Serena."

Good Luck

Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

I don't know what to expect in Cinci. She did not play well in Montreal despite the emphatic scores, Coco was tanking and Babos
Maybe if Goerges is kind enough to flop, we will get a couple of wins.

Agnieszka Radwanska

One step forward two steps backward 2017 Aga is a brainless player with no pace on the shots.

I admit that I'm only a casual fan of Aga, so I haven't seen enough of her matches to really see the difference in her play. Can anyone explain to me what's been happening?

I felt like 2015 was actually not a very good year for her despite the YEC, so I'm confused that she's gone so far downhill since then

Dokic&Kerber&Serena

Stosur - Venus - Hingis - Diyas - Jankovic - Niculescu
Dulgheru - Gavrilova - Davenport - Wozniacki

Aga - Kvitova - Cibulkova - Lisicki - Bencic - Cornet - Halep - Sevastova - Mladenovic
Some level of love/fascination for Ivanovic, Giorgi, Azarenka, Sharapova, Makarova, Kuznetsova, Zvonareva

Re: Aga's 2017 North American hard-court swing

Aga lost 4-6 4-6 to Görges in Cincy R1

Julia is a talented player and in strong form this year

Another poor performance from Aga. She is in very weak form
