I shudder to think what may happen after Bol.

Lets not forget she has to start 2003 off with a bang because even though she only reached the second round this year, she has those big ASV bonus points to defend!!

Hopefully she is training her ass off, and will try and save that ranking...

Here's hoping

Well, we'll see what she can do against Serena. If only I could watch it.
Is anyone going to see it? If yes, please report how Iva played.

this shows up how earning pts all at once is not really good for your ranking Players who earn a lot of points in the beginning of the year and not much for the rest of the year always seem to be disadvantaged, as compared to those who do well mainly in the indoor season. This is because the clay court season points come off early and then these players are left with crappy rankings, crappy seedings, and thus crappy draws for most of the year as they go onto their less preferred surfaces. The "indoor specialists" are propped up with points from the previous years indoor season for the whole year (helping seedings and draws, allowing them to do better on their non-preferred surfaces). This always happened with Tauziat!

Hopefully Iva can overcome this
