I know this has been done before, but we all have our obvious favorite tennis player, but what are some of you guys top ten favorites??

1. Jennifer Capriati (couldn't say enough about her...my all time favorite)
2. Monica Seles (my old all time favorite until I started following Jen's career in 1999)
3. Amelie Mauresmo (a friendly out of the closet lesbian with a sweet game..works for me)
4. Kim Clijsters (very nice down to earth girl with a fierce on-court presence..good combination)
5. Mary Pierce (she really wears her heart on her sleeve when she plays...watch her eyes and you will see....and I eat it up)
6. Martina Hingis (when she won everything I use to love to hate her, but during her last couple of years on tour, she became a sentimental favorite of mine...very unexpectedly
7. Martina Navratalova - (of course I had to include one of the ultimate legends of women's tennis)
8. Serena Williams (yeah..I cheer against her sometimes but its because I like underdogs and the sisters are the best of the best now)
9. Venus Williams (how can you not admire their talent, ambition, and ability to handle anything that comes their way with such class)
10. Lindsay Davenport

Ok..my turn. We'll do ultra favorites, right?

1) Kimiko Date. She was one of my first favorite female tennis players.

2) Gaby Sabatini- I got into her a little too late. Did catch her on the "Tonight Show" when it was hosted by Johnny Carson. Watched her
of and on during the 1990's.

3) Natasha Zvereva- A true original. The entertainer bar none.

4) Justine Double H- Ever since RG 1999 when I heard she almost
kicked LD out I was just intrigued. Followed her ever since, and
brought back alot of excitement to tennis for me again.

5) Jana Novotna- Gee. She was just fantastic to watch. Never got
any respect in the USA. They always called her the "choker".
Thank God she finally won WIMBLEDON.

6) Amelie Mauresmo- The flair, the style. First seen clips of AM when
she nearly knocked out Hingis in the USO back in 1998.

7) Patty S- I really thought she would be up there with Martina. Too
bad about everything that happened; but still incredible thrilling to
watch when she's "on".

8) Lindsay D- One of the only really American and power players that
I like. Imagine actually liking someone who wins titles. Thanks for the
memories Lindsay

9) Daniela H- Brings back the glory of stylish tennis and away from
power. Too bad about last year, though. Oh well.

10) Jenn/Russian players except Anna/Dokic- These players
always fascinate me. Lots of talent and just absolute "head cases".
What's not to love about them? Go figure? ;)
