I watched this match on TV last year. Typical Patty; not really there if
you know what I mean. Really sloppy playing for God knows what reason?
I was surprised she played that poorly. Angie was just so much more into
the match. It was an easy match for Angie playing against someone who's
head was not in Melbourne...must've been in Reno or who knows where!!
I suspect a different match this year. I think she's settled down a bit, and
from that last interview I read on Patty; she seems happier. So, Patty
will win this one- sorry Angie fans.
Yeah. Angie did. She played really charging aggressive tennis. Patty
looked really timid and passive. The returns were of very poor stuff
from the usual finesse Patty.
If it's windy; Angie should win. Patty can't play in wind at all.
I think Patty will win.She has a pretty good record in Melbourne,& apart from her suspect ankle injury,I thought there were glimpses of the Patty of "old" against her match with Coetzer
Angie hasnt played in a while and was in bad form when she last played, so I dont think she can win, although I hope so. She has a chance if Patty still hasnt recovered from her ankle injury.
Nice to know about my Valued Views here. And yes V'girl, but there are Things That I won't post because they're not "documented facts". The Peppermint Player did seem to lack focus, as Greenout observed.

"Oops I did it again. I played with your serve. Got lost in this break. Oh baby, baby, Oops you think I will fault, that I'm gonna get bro-o-o-k-e-e-en. I'm not that innocent"
it's all about Patty, if she plays good she will trash Angelique but if she's bad she will struggle or even loose. I still cannot believe Widjaja won Wibledon juniors. Looking at her she will have difficulties to reach top 50 this year.
