Well, that's a pretty good crew of Rebound Ace players. Could have to play a champ and two finalists all in a row. Lindsay is clearly the player you didn't want to draw in the QFs, injury or no. She's not so injured she isn't in the Sydney SEMI final.

Between, Justine, Kim, Venus and Amelie, Justine has the toughest draw : davenport in the quarters !! It's a shame ! (i'll be sad for Davenport)
Look at what the quarters should be like :
Justine vs. Davenport/Zvonareva
Mauresmo vs. Dementieva
-----------------------------------------------------------
Venus vs. Sugiyama/Dechy
Kim vs. Myskina/Rubin/Sharapova
Then Mauresmo in the semis, but it's normal !
But Kusnetsova in the 3rd round isn't that easy too !
Anyway, I'm sure she'll break through and beat Venus in the finals (Venus would have a cakewalk draw especially if Kim withdraws !! ) .
Yes, definitely. But she had a much tougher draw than Kim at both RG and the US Open this year and still beat her soundly in the final, so there's no reason why this shouldn't happen with Venus.

I agree - although I would still hope that Lindsay or Venus will beat Justine if she meets them - Justine has shown that she can come through the toughest of draws so there's every reason for her fans to believe she will do so again.
Sorry, but at RG and USOpen, Justine had easier draws : she didn't have to face Davenport in the quarters (of course having Serena in the semis at RG, wasnt' easy, but here she'll probably face Davenport, Mauresmo, and Kim/Venus to win !

We shall see. I didn't see any of Venus at HK so I've not seen her play for months and really don't feel able to make predictions about her. My point was simply that Justine fans shouldn't worry too much about her making it through that draw because she's done it before and still been able to play her best tennis in the final. May or may not be good enough to beat Venus - honestly, I don't know - but I'm not worried that she won't play her best if she gets there.
