Favourite moment of 2003

The season is over so we may as well re-live our best moments. Mine was when Justine won her first slam and also the Fed Cup final cos Amelie was so happy after winning.

Whats yours?

Good luck to:
Andre, Kim, Lleyton, Vera, Marat, Amelie

Justine winning Roland Garros It was a great moment to see both Belgian girls in the final .. that already was a great moment. I was lucky to be at that final ... and yes it wasn't a good final but there was a great atmosphere at centre court and as a Belgian .. I couldn't loose that saturday ...

Roland Garros '03,'05,'06,'07
US Open '03,'07 / Australian Open '04
Olympic Gold '04 /
YEC Madrid '06,'07
41 titles

Serena completing the Serena-slam and then crying afterwards.

Justine´s speech after winning RG! That was REALLY touching. Showed that dreams can become reality.

And of course: Roger finally winning his Wimbledon.

It's kind of come full circle - Amélie playing her first match (and winning) at the Gaz after recovering from her knee injury, and her final match of the year, winning the Fed Cup for France

In between, beating Serena in Rome and beating Justine at the YEC

Justine winning the USO Semi. That was just an amazing feeling. Let me tell you as a Justine fan, it was horrific to see Justine that close to losing. I kept screaming at the TV "OK Justine just win this game!!! Just win this game!" and then it turned to "OK bring it up to 5-5 in the second." And then it becamse, "OK Just win this set!!! win this set!!!" and then back to screaming at Justine to just win games and then even it up and then bring it to tie break and then win the match. It was such an exhilirating feeling. The entire match was amazing for me because of all the different types of emotions I felt throughout. I was angry because of Jen's line calls, I was angry when Justine lost the first set, I was nervous when she was about to lose the second set, I was happy when she won the second set, I was angry when she started losing the third set, I was happy when she finally won!!!!

Justine winning the French. Her speech was amazing the tears just came by themselves. Two hours after the semi-finals they showed the Belgian fans joy,it was only on that moment that I realised that there was going to be a Belgian Grand Slam winner.Justine winning at Zurich=>it was the reward of a wonderfull season.
I also had tears in my eyes after Justine beat Kim in Berlin,it was an amzing match and the start of a wonderfull season.
