I play most of my tennis on synthetic grass..... and i rather hate it.
Most of my match wins come on red clay. But my fave surface is hardcourt....

Doesn't really make sense...but hey.

I've won heaps on a hard court and once on a synthetic grass court, it was quite weird actually!!

"I want to do things on my own terms, I can't have anything take me out.
I have never given up and it's important for me to prove to myself that I can do this, and to prove to me that i'm a champion.
If I were just to sit down, lay down and give in, then I wouldn't have any respect for myself."

Okay, who are you people and why aren't you out there training for your assault on the pro tour instead of petering about on a silly tennis messageboard? I'd give anything to win a singles tournament. I've been in plenty of singles finals (amateur level, of course - let's get real here) but never won any. I've won two doubles titles but, even though people keep saying I suck at doubles. I'm like Kournikova in that I've never won a singles title, but at least I look good trying.

HAHA I didn't mean that green clay was the problem but it was just the fact that I have only won ONE tourny that was funny. Considering I've been trying for 3 years, I think I should have more than one title.

I've won several tournaments (4-5) on hard courts and on Har-Tru (green clay).

OK....I've won about 15 on hardcourts, 7 indoors (carpet), and one on synthetic grass ...I played like 2-3 tourneys on clay, and reached the semis in all of them...But my power game made me lose because of stupid UEs!
