Have your 3 realistic wishes for 2003 come true ?

http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=46194

Mine have. But maybe I should have been a bit more audacious with them, because Anca Barna took them too literally.
She reached the 3rd round at the Australian Open but sucked at the other slams.
She made a tier II quarterfinal but only once and also at one of the weakest tier II's (Shanghai).
And she only made the top 50 at the last minute.

Still a good year for her.

...I hoped Martina would come back healthy...

...I hoped Monica would have a good run at all the Slams...

...I hoped Mirjana would get her arse in gear and play...

...so, no, not really...

I hoped Justine would win a Slam, she won 2 (and 4 Tier I and 2 Tier II)
I hoped Justine would finish the year as #1, and she did it.
I hoped the Belgians would be ranked 1 and 2, and they are

Well, I didn;t have any wishes at the start of the year, but as the year began drawing to a close, my three realistic wishes were as follows:

1. That Vivi & Paola end the year at the #1 doubles team.
2. That Magui end the year in the top 20.
3. That Paola end the year in the top 15.

So, two out of three of my wishes have come true, and Magui has ended ranked #22 with the possibility to get into the top 20 in Australia, so I'm happy enough with that!

Vivi & Conchita & Patricia & Paola 2004 Olympic Silver & Bronze medalists, Vivi & Anabel 2008 Olympic Silver medalists - congratulations!

Kim

Winning a Grand Slam - Not this year but I'm sure next year *crossing fingers*
Winning a Grand Slam title in doubles with Justine (symbolic for Belgium) - Not with Justine, but two with Ai so it's even better
Finishing the year in the Top-3 - She ended 2nd and have been 1st so that's good

1. Justine ends the year Nr1 = yes
2. Justine wins Roland Garros = yes
3. Justine wins Wimbledon = no

2 out of three isn't too bad, is it?

For next year I wish:
1. Justine stays Nr 1
2. Justine wins Wimbledon
3. Justine wins Gold Medal
