Question Can Amelie Do To The Belgians What Kim Did To The WS Last Year?

She upset Justine to meet Kim in the final of the YEC. From what I saw today, she has a great chance of doing what Kim did last year; beating the world numbers 1 and 2 at the YEC.

No, because Kim will probably play less crappy than Justine did today...

Juju played not her best tennis, the fire is gone in the girl, it's good that this was her last match in this season.

But Amélie played great, she really has the ability to win this tournament now. I just don't know how her mental side will react...

I hope she can. But either way, I will be happy if Kim or Momo wins it

As a matter of fact Amelie has the chance to do what Kim didn't... to beat number 1 and 2.

Kim only beat number 1, number 2 retired.

I think that Amelie certainly has the ability to beat Kim tomorrow, but if i were to choose a winner from tomorrow I'd still pick Kim. Amelie would have to play better than she did today because even though she played a great match, Justine was playing fairly sluggish. From what I saw, Kim was moving so well today, running down everything, Amelie will have to hit a few more shots than she hit today to win. I wanted Justine to win just because I thought that that would make for a better match, but who knows, Amelie may actually do well enough to push it to three sets and/or win.

talent, court sense, smartness........
no i am not talking about a racket or a squirrel, i am talking about the former and future number 1..............
martina hingis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck Justine Henin Hardenne, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Mary Pierce, and any of my other favorites that I might have forgotten about at this moment.

juju played OKAY not great but of course she still is affected by her sinusitis. I hope Amelie can do it tho cuz then she will be very close to the #3 ranking and it is about time she win something really really big like this.

what kim did last year was great and all but she did benefit from Venus retiring and Serena being tired out by Cappy so that is far less impressive should Amelie find a way to beat kim tomorrow after today's tough match.

She will do it

people doubt her with Justine and now doubt her with Kim

Kim play amazing to beat her last time but she often drop level in finals

Serena and Markus together forever

Of course Amelie can do it! She has a lifeline thanks to Elena. Did she end up buying her a gift? Wonder what she got her?
