I think I'd change the result of Wimbledon '95 final. Oh, how great it would have been had Arantxa captured that title...

Either:

1992 Wimbledon Final : Monica would beat Graf

or

1998 Roland Garros Final: Monica would beat Arantxa

Life is so gloriously improbable

oh..........

WIMBLEDON 1996 Semi final.

Steffi Graf -vs- Kimiko Date

Kimiko in her career has always been known as a
slow starter. If you watched the video footage
BJK and Mary Carillo were anticipating the Kimiko
comeback in the 2nd set as she always has.
Unfortunately for Kimiko, me , BJK , Mary Carillo,
and the entire population of Japan who were tuned
glued to their tv sets (highest rated TV sporting
event ever in Japan, until the World Cup 2002!!)
it got dark and the match was suspended!!!!!
It continued the next day,and naturally Kimiko
started slow. Steffi played even faster and
it was over. To this day everyone, yes even
Steffi herself acknowledges that a Grand Slam
was a sure thing for Kimiko if she stayed at least
one more season, rather than retire in 1996!!!

Definitely Martina vs Jennifer at the AO in 2002 with Marti winning 6-4 and 6-3

Martina winning the FO in 99

or her beating Capriati in OZ 02

ALWAYS MARTINA HINGIS

Good luck to:
Andre, Kim, Lleyton, Vera, Marat, Amelie

Mary Joe beating Steffi in the 93 French final. She deserved that Grand Slam after her great comeback against Gabby, and then thrashing Sanchez Vicario!!

The Graf ASV 94 US Open final irritated me a bit after the 1st set. Or Monica ASV French Open, of course.

Hard to pick one, but probably Wimbledon 1992, so Monica would have the GS.

Other candidates: FO1998 so Monica would have her tenth major

Also, I wonder what trajectory Hingis' career would have taken if she had won even ONE of her last five GS finals, especially vs. Capriati at AO2002!

I also wish Venus had beaten Serena in the past year, but there is time to remedy that!

And lastly, Capriati vs. JHH at USO this year. Great match, but painful!

Monica def Zvereva in 1998 Wimbledon

I think a Jana Monica final would have been a dream for that year

wimbledon 99 final since no great victory followed that one up (even when I am very glad Steffi retired and is happy and satisfied now )

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night
