Heather Watson and Wimbledon

wimbledon was so packed for Heather's match vs Serena that they had to stop people going to Henman Hill. That has never happened, even for Andy Murray.

Everyone loves Heather.

Re: Heather Watson and Wimbledon

Wimbledon gets packed all the time so that they have to stop new people coming in and crowd control. Especially on beautiful summer Friday evenings.

Pointless thread.

No what happened on Henman Hill yesterday was pretty much unprecedented. It was standing room only with thousands of people crammed onto a grass bank. Trust me, I was there, it was a one off.

8000. But there were also plenty of people who had tickets for C1, C2 and C3 who had left their seats and gone to the Hill.

You would know. Those who make light of a toxic topic as racism doesn't know the meaning anyway.

... Um, Heather is black also so that negates the race card. More like English crowd overflowing in hopes of seeing a Brit beat a Yank. Healthy jingoism.
