The mental side of things ..........

OK, let's forget all about who has the best backhand, forehand, serve, smash, ..... etc. I don't even care about who has the strength and who hasn't. When push comes to shove what counts is what you have upstairs, between your ears. The mental part of the game is everything so my question is: Who is the best out there in women's tennis?

2. Venus Williams (only because of her matches against Serena)

Pretty much agree with that. Given the list it is easy to see that those who rule in this area really do stand out as great players on the tour. OK, what about all time great mental players? Martina Navratilova would have to be one of the short choice contenders.
