According to my mate, Anna K has retired.

I'm not sure about any details, all I got was my mate saying this on MSN:

Paul: The final spark that blew life into me, the Demon Of The Fall. says:
Kova quit
Necromanticism says:
Anna Kova?
Paul: The final spark that blew life into me, the Demon Of The Fall. says:
yea
Necromanticism says:
how ya know?
Paul: The final spark that blew life into me, the Demon Of The Fall. says:
it was on the bbc like 2 mins ago
Necromanticism says:
how come?
Paul: The final spark that blew life into me, the Demon Of The Fall. says:
dono. the man just said she was quiting.

I doin't know if this is true or false, but I'm sure there is some truth because the person that said this isnt really into tennis.

According to the Anna board, someone saw her practicing in Miami the other day. I also read that Auckland is in talks to bring her back to that tourney at the beginning of the year, so go figure.

These are the same types of rumors that plagued Hingis until she retired. Anna states that she will make her final decision in January, so I guess we will know then.

lol!

It was in an Aussie newspaper a few days ago that she'd quit in persuit of an acting career. It had quotes from her saying that she was worried her body would be too worn out for acting with all the tennis she's playing But newspapers have a history of just making stuff up...

As a man I have to say she is definitely hot but I have never been a fan of Anna playing Tennis. I think all fans of her should wait and see because we had these roumors whether she married or not and now this... Keep cool, she will play again!

As apoet says, we'll know in a few months. I'm not optimistic about her returning though.
