I think 90% of the players would like to play on center court against world #1 and 3 GS titleholder, a seed like Likhovtseva and a devaluated seed (but still lots of bonus points) as Stevenson twice

Alex just won the second set 7-5, so the match is heading to a third set.

Their was just some drama at the end of the set and I missed it because I had this crazy woman whining at the same time

Alex' mom was screaming Fight Fight Fight to Alex...she was being real obnoxious...it was hilarious...they are so pathetic

I always suspected it from seeing photos, and now my suspicions have been confirmed: Emilie Loit is a sexy minx! Especially when the bottom of her hair gets all sweaty and dark, while the top stays blonde! *swoon*

That's bad luck. Especially because you can tell us about it.

Can you somehow try to find out what happened ?

Congratulations Emilie

You are making Stevenson your bitch.

Anyone know how many times this has happened in history, namely the same two players in back to back first round matches of Wimbledon and the US open?

Bad luck? She gets some great bonus points for beating Alex twice this year at the Slams.

Exclamation

Emilie faces Maria Sharapova next.

I think it will be tight, but I think Maria will win.

I think Maria will win in straight sets. Go Maria!

Do you think that either one of them can beat Jennifer if she gets to the third round?

Actually yes (Maria only). Which sucks because I am cheering for Maria and Jennifer at this open. I didn't see the draw until today.
