What is up with BEA Bielik

When she first came on tour (last year) and beat a seed...playing great against Justine in the third round...I thought this girl would be a solid 50+ in the rankings a year from then....It has been a year and she just does not impress. Must be tough for a girl that is so used to winning (b.c they are)

I still think she's actually one of the more promising lower ranked American players, she's had pretty good results, she just hasn't played a full schedule really. Now with the pressure of defending the U.S. Open points off, I really think she'll make the top 100 and maybe even higher.

Venus Williams-Ana Ivanovic-Serena Williams-Vika Azarenka-Caroline Wozniacki

McHale-Stephens-Watson-Robson-Townsend

Brodsky-Muhammad-Hampton-Keys-Crawford-Andrews-Hardebeck

i think going from domination in college hurt her. plus the tournament after the us open last year she got a wildcard and lost 1st round which also could have played a part in where she is now.

she has a lot of potential, a big serve, big groundies, she can slice her backhand and she can come to the net. she's either inconsistent with her game or it is mental. but i haven't seen her play since the us open last year so i wouldn't know.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

"On paper" she seems more talented than a lot of top 60/50/100 players.

I think it's mental and injuries.

She has had a lot of injuries this year. She was even injured two weeks before the open, and I'm sure she didn't practice as much as she would have liked to.

And, the fact that she played so well in New York last year, and then losing in the first round of her next tournament really took it out of her. She lost all of her belief, and thought she would just continue her form from the open, but, that wasn't the case.

She'll eventually get better. She's still in the 100s, and will continue to stay there even after the open. Just give her a chance.

QUEEN VEE

Good Luck: RENA, MATTEK, HAYNES, GULLICKSON, HARKLEROAD, RUBIN, GRANVILLE, LEE-WATERS, SCHNYDER, JACKSON, PERRY, KING, SUGIYAMA, PIERCE, TULYAGANOVA, IVANOVIC, KUZNETSOVA, MOLIK, DANIILIDOU, MEDINA GARRIGUES, PETROVA, PENNETTA, GOLOVIN, PEER, LI, SCHIAVONE, RAZZANO, ZVONAREVA, SPREM, SREBOTNIK, VINCI, & SAFINA

she hasn't got the best movement and although she has power she needs to be set up she's not that good off the ground on the run from what i've seen and although she has a lot of power she's not so powerful that she can blow her opponents off the court.
