When is the last time Dementieva dropped out of TOP 20?

i was wondering about this....
coz i believe that outside TOP 10,
she has been the most consistent TOP 20 player,
not that she wins consistently...
but she has stayed in TOP 20 for almost 3 yrs by now
ever since her US Open 00 run,
so anyone remembers when the last time she dropped out of TOP 20?

Actually, she was out of the top 20 during the past 12 months I think. I seem to recall her falling to 22 or 23. Where do you look up past WTA rankings?

This is from her bio on wtatour.com

Quote:
".... captured first career title by d. No. 8 seed Coetzer, No. 4 seed Hantuchova, top seed Henin-Hardenne (world No. 4) and No. 2 seed and former world No. 1 Davenport (current No. 5), the later two being her fourth and fifth Top 5 wins respectively; trailed in final 64 4-2 before winning 46 75 63 for first triumph in five WTA Tour final appearances (first in 2003); climbed eight spots to No. 13 on April 21 ranking;"
If she climbed eight spots then she was ranked #21 on April 14, 2003.

Has she ever been in the top 10?

Yes. Her career high is #9 or #8. See her bio on wtatour.com for specifics.

but i believe 21 was probably the worst ranking
in years for her given her seeding at the slams,
so still pretty consistent IMO..

Alyona was out of the Top 20 before she won Amelia Island. She was in the 20-25 range for most of January-April.
