what if everyone worked as hard as Justine?

If Bovina, Petrova, Damentieva, Kim, Dokic, Hantuchova,Eleni.....and so on....worked has hard on their a.Game (ala..serve, forehand), b.Physical Conditioning c.Mental aspect of winning matches...this would be a very different tour!

how do you know how hard kim dokic et all are working? im sure some of them are working equally hard...if you mentioned people like Myriam Casanova i might agree they could put more effort in to their off-court work!

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

i find it incredulous that kim doesnt work hard, seeing 1) she is 1), and 2) she plays SO MUCH

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

I think the point is that they all both work hard but the difference is, you could really see the fruit in Justine.

Is it possible for other players to hire the fitness trainer of Justine????

not really, jelena works very hard too evidenced in her slimming figure but she will never be as good a mover as justine. why? justine has better anticipation and footwork

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

if that's the case, then jelena needs to work harder on her consistency of her service game and groundies....nobody could change her anticipatin/footwork so she has to rely on improving her stronger sides of the game.

Why didn't you include the sisters on that list? There isn't a single player that has a perfect game, everyone has chink and if they had no weaknesses, then the tour would be truly amazing. I am sure they all work hard, but people train differently. Unfortunately it takes more than hard work, it also takes alot of talent. I am sure if you talked to those who are always playing qualies, thier story would amaze you. They probably put in the longest hours, have tougher financial demands, can barely afford good coaches, fly all over the world for an opportunity and when they finally land in a main draw, they draw Serena and are back in the locker rooms in under an hour to start all over again. But then again, this is the story of all the players.

Bovina works rigorously on her game, especially her movement this past year. She practices very hard every time I've seen her.

She says she also works on physical conditioning. I doubt it's as much as Justine does... but honestly, she's never going to have a body like Justine.

In conclusion, I think it's wrong to make these judgments on other players. Thanks.

everyone is different. hiring justines fitness trainer wont necessarily make a difference.

i dont think someone like bovina would be given the same workout anyway. her and justine have completely different bodies and the routine must be built around that.

....This is fucked up, fucked up....

This is your blind spot, blind spot.
It should be obvious, but it's not.

Cause I'm right here in your arms today
With your fingers you can touch me

I'll be your black swan, black swan
I'm for spare parts, broken up.

For all you know those players could work harder

Daniela is one of the most hardest workers on the tour and Kim well you can't exactly say she doesn't work hard as pointed out she plays a lot and does cross training work on the track and also runs the sand dunes in Adelaide with Lleyton in the offseason and has a specialised gym program
Now I don't know how hard the other players you mentioned work. But if I was them I would take this comment offensive as it insinuates they aren't working hard, which obviously they all are

Well, Justine doesn't work many hours a day, but she gives 100% in the training.
I think she has the best staff for training of the wta.
I heard that before RG, Carlos Rodriguez asked Jose-Luis Clerc a former argentinian champ to do trainings with her.

That is your opinion and you have the right to have that and it may be so that she has the best team around her, but just cause she has the best team around her doesn't mean she works the hardest.
I think anyone who makes the top 10,15 or 20 deserve to be given credit for how hard they have worked, even players who may not get that high also work incredibly hard and give 100% in training to, Daniela for example continues to train even when it starts to rain and is as windy as all hell

People need to realise Justine is more talented than most other players. The condition can be improved through hard work. I'm afraid that improved condition alone will not do the trick for those other players.

I know but it's not about quantity, it's about quality. You can't train 2-3 hours at 100%.
Look at players like Dementieva, Bartoli, Capriati. They train with their parents, I don't think it's the best for them.
Rodriguez before working with Justine has trained Dick Norman when he advances to the 1/8 final of wimbledon.
What I like about Justine is that She always try to improve her groudstrokes and her service. Look how much she has improved her forehand.
It seems to me that there are not many players who tries to improve their technics of groundstroke.
Many are just hitting balls and don't try to change their technic even if they have weaknesses.

I'm not saying henin doesn't work hard, but all the other players work hard to. Capriati has won 3 GS's and been 1 so to say working with her Dad isn't best is a big call
