How many players have sent well-wishes to Serena?

I pondered over this question! I know that Venus, of course, and sweetie-weetie (kim) had probable called and checked on her. But, what about the other players on the tour? Do yall believe Jennifer, Lindsay, Justine or even Amelie sent her well-wishes?

And, what about the commentators? Pam Shriver? Tracy Austin?

What do you think?

Really I don't care
I think nobody in the whole tour wishes this to any player.

Roland Garros '03,'05,'06,'07
US Open '03,'07 / Australian Open '04
Olympic Gold '04 /
YEC Madrid '06,'07
41 titles

the only player who probably wish the injury on Serena is Justine and her coach. Everyone else does not. LOL

yeah, but wouldn't the "good part of a player" wish the best for her. No matter how bad things had been between, say, her and Jennifer, should jennifer call and send her best? Should Davenport do the same? I know that they both sent well-wishes to Martina Hingis! Why not serena?

Still! I believe that, if the situation were reversed, Serena, and Venus, for that case, would act accordingly!

If she's not received a lot of support, it'll make me wonder about the allegations coming from Justine's coach - the fact that Serena ISN'T liked that much.

One ponders....!

Mase,

Yeah, I believe that Monica and the Sisters are friendly towards each other. She's been one of the minority that the sisters don't downgrade losses!

We seem to lose sight of the fact that there are well over a 1000 women on the WTA tour and they (as do ALL athletes) get injured from time to time. Are all the athletes "obligated" to send get-well card to all the ones who are injured, or just the famous ones who are injured? I think its a nice gesture to send a card for any reason, however, if a player chooses not to send, it say nothing particularly about their character.

BTW, get well soon Serena.....and all the others who are injured.

I understand that a 1000 players are on the tour, but the Top 10 - the Elite Ten - should have a different relationship than the balance of the tour! One would expect more interpersonal relationships b/w the elite players.
