The A-Train derailed...again

Alexandra Stevenson's had a pretty shitty year, but she just hit a new low in losing to a 14 year old. Alex was down 6-3 3-3 when she retired with a shoulder problem that is legitimate, but odds are just a lame excuse to avoid facing the music. This loss puts her down at a record of 9-18 What is keeping this girl from realizing she needs a COACH. Mommy feeding balls to her doesn't qualify as a coach. At this rate, expect 1st round losses in New Haven and the US Open

face it. the woman can only serve and not much else. in men's tennis that can bring you far, in female tennis were many are good returners it will not

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

The A-Train? I thought that was reserved for Andre Agassi. Alexandra Stevenson is a terrific half-court player: she can beat anybody if all she has to cover is half the amount of court :-D

Alex who?

Anyway, outside US, 99,99% of people don't even know there's a tennis player named Alex Stevenson

Maybe we should tell her, it would certainly help her

You mean cover half the amount of court and hit into twice the size of it.

Yeah, maybe it would help her cover some of that tooth exposure. Talk about taking the Hingis thing to an extreme!

Well said...but the serve should at least be helping her to beat a 14-year old qualifier.
