Russian World No.1 Player?

Do you think we're going to witness a Russian world no.1 player in the next decade? There're so many up-and-coming Russian girls in the top 100 and they all seem to be improving at such a rate. But I have been wondering about this for a while already. Don't think those Russian young girls are bit overrated? What about all the hype about Petrova? I have never seen her play but just because she took out Venus on the dirty, all of a sudden everyone started rating her so highly. Look at her recent results in the U.S. Three early round losses? Is she in a slump or what? All those Russian girls seem so full of ups and downs and I don't think any of them is consistent enough to make it to the top.
Anyways, here's the poll about if there will be a Russian world no.1 in the future.

Highly possible, but at the moment, those upcoming russian stars are quite inconsistent, they should keep their form and finally raise to the no.1.

Martina Hingis

sharapova, maybe safina or bovina. but bovina is a bit old and i'm not sure if safina quite has what it takes to be #1.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

and douchevina has been very highly regarded. she apparently has more talent than kuznetsova and zvonareva and zvonareva is top 20 edging her way into the top 15.

Just hope we'll have the ranking of old back. Douchevina would have been top 100 ranked. Like Masha S. top 30 ranked etc.
