Jenn by numbers (All losses vs Elite Wins

Here's my 'Elite' for this thread: Serena, Venus, Monica pre-2003, Kim, Justine NOT on harcourts, Amelie, Lindsay, Martina.

I've gone back to Jan 2001, so we get the absolute best of Jennifer Capriati in here.

BLUE notes a win over one of my 'elite' players.

* Beating Justine on American hardcourts is no big deal

Proud to be an American
Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

That's alot of losses for just 2 1/2 yrs.

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

I still say her best tennis was at the 01 Aussie. She's NEVER played that well again...not even in Paris

Im with you tennislove. That was Jens best tournament....that was her high, she got lucky that she faced a young Kim( although not even an old Kim would have won, this is a slam afterall.)

I know Clijsters was top 5 sometime in 2001, but I wouldn't say she was 'elite'

So she has beaten only two elite players (Rubin and JHH) on clay.

I'm sorry. I meant to say,"She's only beaten two elite players since 2002 - on clay."
