If Monica had Jennifer's fitness/movement

Would she still be winning slams? Both players are great strikers of the ball, but Monica lack of fitness and movement leave alot to be desired.

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

No she wouldn't still be winning slams. She already would have won a lot more slams... at least 12 or 13 and would be retired now and living in Sarasota living in fear that I may win the lottery and turn up next door.

Who can say?

Jenn's fitness comes from Jenn's personality, and Jenn's environment and Jenn's experiences. Jenn's fitness with Monica's personality and experiences might not work.

If Monica had Jenn's fitness, maybe she'd have lacked the fire to win the nine GS titles she did. Maybe, with that level of defensive skill, she nver becomes the offensive machine she did. It's like asking how many GS titles would Venus win if she had Jenn's forehand. Who knows? If Venus had Jenn's forehand, would she have worked to make her backhand the weapon it is?
