How do you say "Qualifying Rounds" in Your Language?

What do you call the qualifying rounds of a tournament in your language? What is the literal English translation of such term?

Please discuss and share. I'm interested to hear.

In French: qualifications, which means "qualifications". In German: "Qualifikation" (or "Quali") means "qualification".
