Arrow Monica's Ranking

Last year, Monica Seles did not play at all from the Australian Open until Oklahoma.

This year, I see her name is on the commitment lists for TOKYO, PARIS, and DUBAI.

Because Monica has played only 13 tournaments in the last 12 months, every point she earns in these weeks will be added directly to her points total, with zero points coming off.

Barring injury, Monica can expect to win one or more of these events, and we should see her ranking rise accordingly!

Good luck, Monica! Get back up there where you belong!

That's great - she doesn't deserve to be ranked #10, she's way better than that.

Plus I don't want her meeting Jennifer in the fourth round of a Slam - they deserve to meet in the final

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Rafael Nadal : 10 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Seles probably wants to go into Paris with a high seeding. There is no reason why she can't get up to 4 by then. Roland Garros still has to be her best bet to win a slam.
