casanova was too inconsistent but it was difficult to trade groundies against cap today!

Jen was on fire! I'm not being biased or anything but she played an excellent match today She seemed pleased with herself at the end

Thanks for the update since ESPN chose to show us Ferrero on grass....HOW excitiing. Would it kill them to show two games of Jen to see how she's playing???

great win for jen.

Is Casanova the player that Melanie Molitor is coaching/helping?

Jen's served has improved! SHe has put more variety in it and she's not dropping left or right anymore with her toss It's sets up the points much easier for her

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

from what i am seeing so far in this match. jen is not firing. Casanova is firing and dictatin over 80% of the points. she just is missing EXTRA EXTRA big. But Jen is being agressive and consistent and this is how she won the match.

Look at these stats!!

Second Serve Points Won
1 Jennifer Capriati USA 1 10 of 11 = 91 %

Fastest serve
1 Samantha Stosur AUS 117 188
2 Iroda Tulyaganova UZB 114 183
2 Venus Williams USA 114 183
4 Elena Baltacha GBR 113 182
4 Jennifer Capriati USA 113 182

and she's not on the double faults list!

First serve points won
1 Paola Suarez ARG 1 24 of 25 = 96 %
2 Kim Clijsters BEL 1 18 of 20 = 90 %
3 Jennifer Capriati USA 1 22 of 25 = 88 %

Brilliant effort Jen, she should be pleased with herself.

Dissecting 80% of points?! Bollocks.
