It's because she was in the doubles final at Birmingham. She is still playing doubles at Eastbourne.

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Rafael Nadal : 10 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Its beacause she made the doubles final last night at BMH. Your not allowed to pull out of an event to play another, so she wont be able to qualify. However she is playing doubles at Eastborne with Martina again.

Well kind of a bummer for Alicia but hopefully her doubles matches will help tune her singles game for Wimbledon.
