Is there a chance? I mean she has 80 career doubles titles (Throw In: It's late; 2:00 AM and I first wrote points instead of titles. That would push her right into the record books? ) She is of such cool character, couldn't they do it because of that? But seriously, 80 is a lot; no? Or not enough?

Well....4 singles titles, 80 doubles, 18 doubles grand slams, and 2 Mixes Doubles is pretty convincing....I'd say yes....

She was one of the best doubles player ever, and a pretty decent singles player too (career high #5, French Open finalist). I think that'll be enough.

she has one thing against her. sad but true (and it has nothing to do with her tenniscareer)

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

Go Vera!!!!

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.

Natasha still has an active doubles ranking so i'm still wishing and hoping she might still play a couple of events this year...

Eastbourne?
