Movie being filmed at this years Wimbledon!

Hi,

I don't know if anyone has already posted something about this, but I got my tickets to Wimbledon some time ago, however I've only just read the book that the tickets come with. This is what it says on the back:

"Wimbledon Film

During the Wimbledon fortnight, a motion picture is being filmed. By your presence at the AELTC, you grant your permission for your likeness and voice to be included in the film and it's exploitation and advertising without compensation or credit."

I knew a film was being made with a film films plot revolving around Wimbledon but I didn't relise filming would take place during the actual Wimbledon evet!

I think it's safe to say that there will be more camaras floating around than usual!

tfannis. There's two movies coming in the works.
One with Reese that is about a certain ex-tennis
teen star that ends up doing coaching/ practice
partner crap, and has the chance to help out
another certain up and coming tennis glamour
teen star who totally su*ks.

The other film is Kristen Dunst's tennis movie.
Young tennis star on the rise, falls in love with
old male tennis geezer on the way down!!

The Kristen Dunst movie is probably the one their
taking Wimbledon scenes from. The subplot of
the film is that the old male tennis geezer has one
last chance for a good showing at WIMBLEDON.

Ah thanks Greenout

Looks like some typical Hollywood-endings in the making I'm guessing the old geezer has a last good showing at Wimbledon

It's the Kirsten Dunst/Paul Bettany movie being filmed htis year at Wimbledon, although I read that they are only shooting crowd shots throughout the fortnight. I expect they will shoot the film after the tournament is finished.

They must be looking to add a bit of authenticity, as they asked Serena to appear in the movie. Perhaps they'll be all over the place, filming the courts, the matches, the lockerrooms, the crowds, etc.

The Kirsten Dunst one is called Wimbledon, and Kirsten is currently taking tennis lessons from Pat Cash. How funny
