Exclamation Alexandra Stevenson

I see that not only did Alexandra Stevenson lose early in singles in yet another tournament, she also lost in the first round of doubles. I hope to see her match on TV when Wimbeldon starts because I'd like to see what is wrong with her game or if her weight is an issue. I know one thing that is an issue and that is her mother being one of her coaches. I really feel Alexandra should get a new coach or, if possible, go to the Boletteri Academy to work on her game because there must be some talent there or else she would not have gotten to the semifinals of Wimbeldon four years ago as a qualifier.

Note to Alex fans:

Last year, I posted a poll that got a lot of people mad about her quitting tennis mainly because she wasn't playing good. I am not trying to bash her, but facts are facts, especially when they are staring you in the face.

Saw her loose to Razzano in Antwerp on a side court

loads of ue, she wants to go for too much and probably it's mostly a mental case

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

Her problem is that she's brain dead out there. She'll be on the dead run (or waddle I should say) fully stretched out and still try to smack a winner that she'll make one time out of 50. She has the game to do well, as evidenced by her Wimby run. When she's on, it's a beautiful sight to watch. However, when you go for your shots that much, you better have the day of your life to pull it off.

I think she needs to realize what kind of game she has. She says she has an all court game, but every time I see her up at net she misses the volley. She needs to make her serve more consistent and realize she is NOT Goran Ivanisevic and hit two 110+ first serves as well.

the only good thing about her game that I saw is her serve. in men's tennis that can bring you far in women's tennis not

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

Alex doesn't even have good enough patience to play on grass! And of course her movement, fitness, and second serve are serious problems as well. The talent is there, the mental strength and consistency are not.
