Since I predicted both semi's correctly, I will now predict the final.

I correctly predicted Clijsters over Petrova in straight sets and Henin over S. Williams in 3 sets in the women's semifinals. apoet, babsi and Knopfler6 are my witnesses.

My 2003 French Open finals prediction is Clijsters over Henin in 3 sets. I base this on Henin having a slight letdown after her huge win over Serena and the obvious fact that Kim is physically stronger than Justine and that could be the deciding factor in the final. Juju has more natural talent Kim does. In fact I think Henin is pound for pound the most talented player in women's tennis. But I think Clijsters will wear the smallish Henin down for the 3 set victory. Kim is a great grinder! Look for a 3-6 6-4 6-3 Clijsters win.

No matter what happens, I think this will be an exciting and entertaining match!

I could live with that result.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!
26.03.2009: More Kim years to come!

I picked both results exactly as well (see Quikpix semi-final thread)

So I can state my case as well.

Kim 6-4 6-3

Sorry Justine fans

I picked the players who made the final as soon as the draw was made (see Prediction Games in Roland Garros section) as well as Zvonereva beating Venus!! I reckon and hope Justine will win, she is a much better clay courter.

It looks like FlatStat and MartinaI made correct predictions, too. Well done!

*see MartinaI*

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met./All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet - One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;/'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet/One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet/One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get/One perfect rose.

It's pretty easy to make predictions foe the semifinals of a tournament. But that was a very good prediction by MartinaI at the beginning of the tournament. She should get some kind of award or prize for getting it right!
