Will the French tolerate another loss by Mauresmo?

The French fans have been patiently waiting for Amelie Mauresmo to win the Roland Garros title since she was a teenager and it seems as if their patience has worn out and it would be doubtful if anything but a title will satisfy the Parisians.

Clay is supposed to me Momo's best surface and that all Williams final in 2002, by two supposed non clay court specialist, did not go well with many in the French tennis community.

The French should have pulled some of the young soccer players off the fields and started training some of them on the tennis courts if they really want to successful have a Frenchman win an RG title.

With all of that pressure on Mauresmo, I would look for her to take up residence in Palm Beach or Hollywood if she is turned back once again this year.

She definitely has enormous pressures on here this week. Now, it has reached the pinnacle. Serena has to do herself good and play amazing the first few games, and not the crowd and Amelie get an advantage. Serena needs to jump quickly on front and keep Amelie tense. The game plan for Serena is hitting behing her and overpowering her at net. Also, Amelie tends to serve down the T on the Deuce court, and out on the Ad court, Serena has to be ready to cheat to the right.
Oh, why am I not a tennis couch.
Also, Serena needs to intimidate Amelie with her speed...
Oh please Serena, kill the bitch...
Sidenote: Sorry, but the competitiveness is setting in, thus resulting in name calling

I do, however, believe that this will be a very good match.

Damn! Why can't I see this match live?

I think the only way the crowd will matter is if they cheer FOR serena because that would totally suprise her. Serena is ready for a hostile crowd in fact I think she welcomes it to fire her up. And then the crowd expectations and pressures of playing the number one on center court in her home country will be a tough test for momo. We shall see in a few short hours.

I think people are just happy to see Amelie play so well again. This is the furthest she's got, so I don't see why she can't WHIP SERENA'S ASS TODAY

Make clothes not war.

"When I was four years old, we moved from England to USA, when my mother found out that I won't be KING!" -- Bob Hope--

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.

Late news:

Immediately following her Roland Garros quarter final loss to SERENA WILLIMS, an unnamed French official handed Amelie Mauresmo a one way ticket to Wyoming, U.S.A. and told her to leave Paris by sundown.

not quite such a nice thing to say..

Momo had the best RG that she has ever had. She feels enormous pressure in Paris. she does the best she can. no need to gloat over her loss.
