Damn, Capriati may have been the only female to do it.

In searching for a stat on SERENA, I think that I came across an interesting stat for Capriati.

For women that may have appeared in three or more Grand Slams finals, Capriati may be the only one from that select group to have won every final that she has played.

I do not think that any man has performed that feat as well.
A very good stat for Capriati.

SERENA has the highest winning percentage for GS finalist with 6 or more appearances.
VENUS is the only player to lose in four straight GS finals.

Lindsay was 3 for 3 in her first Grand Slam finals

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

Da Forehand - PLEASE, PLEASE, carefully read my post.
Capriati is the only player to have won all of the GS finals that she has played in to date, in more than three appearances.

There is a clear inference for a player being 100% for total GS finals.

Lindsay has lost some finals to date.

Tee, Martina Hingis lost her last 5 grand slam finals. And all of those losses took a tremendous toll on Martina's once strong psyche. I wonder if the same thing will happen to Venus.

I read your post very carefully, I wasn't trying to refute that. I was just stating a fact. Not trying to knock you or Cappy.

Martie - I did not check the men's records yet, but thanks for the info because I do belive that Guga, on of my male faves, has been in 3 GS finals and won all of them. Guga has also won them all in the same GS event.

Not so impressive when you look at how long it's been since she's won any kind of title.
