No, not true, well according to an article from the New York Post, but I am sure the SUN with insist that they are, since it was one of there World exclusive's. But they obviously just changed the venue, that's the only reason I can think of, since the London Sun or the trash in BILD would never get something like this wrong. I mean have they ever in the past
(BTW I have got no idea if it happened or not)
June 1, 2003 -- Was it a love match last night for Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias?
That's the question reporters and paparazzi were asking in the Dominican Republic, as they scrambled to find out if the tennis tart and the Latin crooner were married in a sunset ceremony.
Fotogs hoping to snap a glimpse of the possible newlyweds actually waited outside a church in the Caribbean paradise where news reports from around the world said the power pair were to be married.
But after hours of waiting, the lensmen were disappointed to discover they been duped - and that another couple were actually married at the site.
The Russian-born Kournikova, 21, and the Spanish-born Iglesias, 28, have reportedly been speaking the international language of love since February 2002.
This is not the first time that Kournikova has kept a veil of secrecy over her bridal status.
Her brief marriage to fellow Russian sports star, Detroit Red Wings center, Sergei Fedorov wasn't publicized until years after the ceremony.
Injuries have forced Kournikova, currently ranked 70th in the world, to miss the French Open this week.
