GO PATTY!!

Oh, how much I would love an upset here. Patty is such a great person, I wish she could get over this mental hump though.

How many Williams fans would love to see Justine upset before she can test the sisters ... Afraid?

I hope Serena wins from Ai and Amelie/Maguï to compete Justine ...

So Patty: good luck, but the Justinator is turning and only Justine can pull the plug.

I like both Patty and Justine. They each have interesting styles and games. I'd be happy to see either woman win. Patty can be dangerous because you don't know which Patty is going to show up. If the dangerous Patty shows up, she can certainly cause an upset. If the inconsistent Patty shows up, she'll be trounced.

Good luck to both ladies!

I remember all that cheering for Loit

No, I think fear and desperate rooting for anyone other than the Sisters is the Belgian way. Loit at the Aussie O ring a bell?

When its slam time Williams fans expect the Sisters to beat anyone. J Cap is the only one I think has the fire to step up at Slam time when the Sisters are "on".

Just keep hoping they are "off"; its your only hope.

That's why you guys were celebrating rankings hoping that the sisters would be on the same side of the draw.

Too bad...

That said, go Patty!!!

Next round of OJ is on me.

Justine hyped? Whenever Serena wins a match, she gets four posts to say that she has won. Justine got one for herself today, two shared with Serena, one opposed to her (this one) and none in the previous days. Eurosport forgets her, CNN only mentions the score ... She won't be talked about untill the semis. And you say she's hyped Even if she played great, the UNBEATABLE Serena usurps all the attention by her double bagel.

And saying all Williams fans dislike Justine is so rude. I like Venus A LOT and I'm a Justine fan So I whish Patty wins ... Strange logic

Go Patty.

Justine has the head to head but you never know with Patty (or Justine for that matter) Patty looks good too and has her winning head on. Lets hope for a great match and who ever wins will be a deserving semi-finalist (its a great quarter to be in) It will be a confidence booster for Justine if she wins and if Patty wins it will be because she is playing well enough to do well in the following rounds as well.

Patty Schnyder (SUI) vs. Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL)
2001-08-27 U.S. Open Hardcourt R64 Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL) 6-7(7) 6-1 6-4
2002-02-11 Antwerp Indoor Hardcourt SF Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL) 1-6 6-3 6-4
2003-05-05 Berlin Clay R16 Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL) 6-2 6-3
Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL) leads 3:0

I like Henin its Kim that is duller than dirt.

When I don't have a "true stake" in the results I root for "the babe".

In this matchup Patty is "the babe".

Ps. Patty is just as likely to beat a Williams on clay as anyone else.

Not a diss, she's good enough when she's "on".

1) i never said all w/s fans. i said the ones who were cheering for Patty
2) suprise suprise Justine is basically unknown outside of Belgium. going down a street in England you say "Serena and Venus Williams" they say "tennis players" you say "Justine Henin and they keep on walking
3) i believe she is hyped.....thats just my feeling

so you know....not everybody has to like the sisters and not everybody has to like JHH...just respect them (which i do )...dont cry about it

ps: Kiwifan u got the wrong Belgian....Kim is the interesting one
