Wimbledon.

It is no secret Wimbledon likes to seed according to what they believe is appropiate. If Kim and Venus have a couple hundred points between each other in Kim's favor, then I wouldn't think it would be a big deal if they seed Venus above Kim.

But if ,this being highly possible, Kim is around 1000 points clear at number 2, should she be highly pissed if Venus is seeded above her?

I think I would be, you?

if kim was leading by 1000 points, i dont think wimbledon would have the audacity to seed venus above her

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met./All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet - One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;/'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet/One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet/One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get/One perfect rose.

it's not about how many points you have on the next closest player. 100 or 1000, I've never seen that make any difference at all.

If they seeded Venus two, they'd probably have a case.

they seed people on how well they have done on grass previously - right?

so i guess it would make sense seeding venus 2

clijsters hasn't been to a semi at wimbledon has she? anyway venus has won it twice and reached the final last year. that is a better record than kims from what i remember. and they don't base the top seeds on their ranking really it mainly is theur grass record that counts. even if kim got to #1 for wimbledon this year i personally would seed venus and serena above kim. but that is only because of their seeding system. i would be just as happy or even more so if they were to do it based on ranking.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

Then it would also make sense to seed ASV, Lindsay and Justine above Kim, IMO it doesn't make sense...

that is why venus vs. kim at this french is so important I think. although we already know venus is clearly head and shoulders over Venus, people have written off the match in Antwerp when Venus Killed kim like it never happend. If the same thing were to happen in the semis at the French, that match would be the talk and People like Mary Jo and Pam would remember them like the back of their head. But I think wimbledon will seed venus number 2 no matter what They know venus is the better player out there right now, reagrless of the surface.

That's true, I almost totally agree, but I don't see the logic in the seeding at Wimbledon. Like I just said, you could also seed ASV, who reached 2 ?? finals, above Kim, Would that be right ?? I don't think so.
In case of Venus, I think it would be right, but IMO the seeding process at Wimbledon isn't totally right
