What happens with Paola Suarez?

I Think She Is A Great Player In Clay
In 2002 She Lost In 1st Round In Rome And Berlin
And Then Sf In Madrid And Qf In Rg
But Do You Think Is Possible Do The Same In 2003?
What Happens With Her?
I Like So Much And I Am Happy For Her Number One In Doubles
But I Wanna To See Her In Top 20.
Her Best Ranking Was 22.

I like her too, but she seems to get pretty bad draws -- hopefully the French will do her some good!

Paola's straight-sets loss in Rome to Sugiyama was very puzzling and disappointing. I am worried her ranking is going to plummet after Roland Garros.

But after you brought up what happened with her last year, which I had forgotten, I guess there is still room for hope!

in 2002 she lost in Berlin with Hantuchova and in Rome with Kremer
then she lost in Madrid in SF with Seles
and became unseeded won over Testud, Dechy and Mauresmo.
We hope french rivals in RG

Eh... I wouldn't worry too much about Paola... she's had decent results this year.

She did beat Jelena... and gave Jenny a tough fight.

Plus, there's some crappy clay events coming up like Palermo, Vienna, Sopot, Helsinki that she can win.

It's so hard to say that, maybe she's not the talented but WTA is full of more skilled girls who are fighting for being number 40 for example

"Qui n'a connu
Douleur immense
N'aura qu'un aperçu
Du temps
"

you forgot the very good results in hard in Australian Open and in the tournaments in January
and she got the 3rd in Wimbledon lost to Davenport in 2001
i think she needs better results in carpet for example
i think she isa capable top 20 like Sugiyama, Dechy, Shaugnessy, Daniilidou and Farina Elia if she propose them

Considering Ai just beat Patty Schnyder 6-2 6-1 and that she also beat Kim this year, there's no shame in losing to Ai. Let's hope Paola gets a good draw at the French.

Everything you do continues long after you've gone

What do the likes of Farina Elia, Kremer, and Tanasugarn (sorry to single them out, Im not picking on them) have that Paola doesn't? She is a good solid player that can hit a variety of shots. If they can make top 20 then she can. Whether she actually does it is a different question entirely.

I hope she does, but more importantly she's got big points to defend in Paris, so get cracking girl

I love paola and think she has the grit to get into the top 20.
Her last two weeks have been disappointing- more so as they were a great chance to move up higher in the ranings on her best surface
