JCapriati Hello everyone... Jennifer is ready!
STARKEISHA Your obviously a great player that can challenge the top players, i would go as far to say that you are better than any of the top players, what do you think separates you from them right now?
JCapriati Thank you. Not much separates us at that level. It's more of a mental game and who is feeling the most confident. I can still improve on my fitness level and be more aggressive.
Francisco Hi Jennifer. Everyones knows that you have an incredible forehand, but do you have to train it or is something natural? Francisco Venezuela
JCapriati I think it's something natural... but of course, I have to practice
PURE Do you think the Williams Sisters are talked about to much. And do you get tired of people asking more questions about them in your interview than asking about you?
JCapriati It's not too bad. But sometimes they ask at the inappropriate time.
Kelton22 Has there been a specific opponent in your career that you have always enjoyed playing against?
JCapriati I'd have to say... probably Martina Hingis and Steffi
blooby Hi! I know you like wathing movies, but I don't know if you have time to! Have you seen XMen2? Will you go to watch Matrix 2 Reloaded?
JCapriati Yes I do love watching movies... No to X Men and I definitely want to see Matrix 2. I was invited to the premiere but I couldn't make it because I was playing.
Doerte Jennifer, is your brother going to come with you to Roland Garros? If yes, are you going to play mixed doubles again? Good luck in rome! Take care, Katharina and Doerte
JCapriati No, I think we have given up on the mixed doubles career.
JenFaninMexico Jen, Do you practice Yoga to improve your concentration during matches?? Is it helping you?
JCapriati No, not that much, although it's something maybe I'll try to get into more.
Bex Hi! Good luck in Rome. Your comeback really inspired me to play tennis. Which achievement means the most to you one of your Grandslams or your olympic GOLD?
JCapriati Grandslams... because it was after I came back and was one of the most difficult for me.
Simon We've heard that you trained with a known athelte. Is that true and who is it?
JCapriati My trainer now used to be a track athlete, but not professionally
Kelton22 If you had to pick one, what is the most memorable match you've played so far in your career?
JCapriati The finals of the French Open against Kim Clijsters because it was the intriguing and exciting for me and for the fans also
kira Do you think it's fair that some players are labelled as being pure power players while others are called "cerebral"?
JCapriati I think the good ones have a little bit of both. You can't just have one or the other to be a top player
JenFaninMexico Jen, your family is wonderful. How important are they in your performance on court?
JCapriati They support me a lot on and off the court and when I'm feeling their presence, it helps me to stay calm and more relaxed, and off the court, they support me a lot so I'm positive on and off the court
RobertG Hi Jennifer! In your pro career, you won almost everything possible except US Open and Wimbledon. Are these titles your goal now?
JCapriati Right now, I'm setting small goals for myself. Itry to take one match at a time, one tournament at a time since I haven't won a tournament in a long time, I probably want to just start by thinking about the next tournament I play.
mandy7 Is it true that you are gonna play doubles with Daniela at the Eastbourne tournament? I hope so cause she's a absolutely great player don't you think?
JCapriati Yes, she's a great player, and I'm planning to play with her in EAstbourne.
Siobhan Hello Jen! Good luck this week, always supporting you even here from Scotland :-) My question is, if you were able to play a movie character in any movie, which would it be and why? Thanks so much, Siobhan x
JCapriati how about Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 weeks!
Nick Hello Jennifer my question for you is do you feel that your second serve needs improvement and has it let you down in tight matches?
JCapriati It always will need improvement and I'm working on it every day and it's getting better, so it's not the thing that lets me down as much anymore.
IVKA_svk Hi Jenny! What does your fans mean to you? I ve got feeling that you really appreciate our support. You are always so nice to your fans. Thanks.
JCapriati I really appreciate the support always, without you guys we are nothing as players. We are well aware of the fans' support and be nice on AOL message boards because I read them!!
Lonfoong_Hong Jennifer, you are having a pretty difficult draw in Rome! First match maybe against Zuluaga, followed by Seles and Mauresmo! What do you think is the key to beat Seles and Mauresmo?
JCapriati First, I have to beat Zuluaga if she wins. We'll start with that.
I Hi Jenny... If you were to play 'Who wants to be a Millionaire', which player would you use for 'Phone a friend'?
JCapriati Martina Navratilova
blooby Jennifer, I'd like to understand something about you! You were two times defending champion at Australian Open (winner in 2001 and 2002), but too, you didn't pass the second round in 4 consecutive years (95/98), and this year, you lost against a middle player (Panova). How can you explain so much extreme differences?
JCapriati Two more questions, ok?
JCapriati next question
Simon In 1992, you were around 16 years old, and you became yougest player to surpass $1.000.000 in career prize money! How did you felt at this time? Did you realize what happened?
JCapriati I never really t hought about money at that time, I just enjoyed playing tennis.
JCapriati last question
WilliamsFan Jennifer, with the recent rise of Justine and Kim, and the great play of the Williams sisters, how good do you think are your chances at the french open?
JCapriati Of course, I always think I have a chance to win and beat anybody, but it's going to be tough!
JCapriati Thanks everyone...I have to go... see you next time
there ya go
