Jen or Kim- What a rooting conundrum!

The winner of this semi bears alot of significance on Roland Garros. If Kim wins, she gets very close to the no.2 ranking since Venus is not playing rome. Kim fans will definitely be rooting her on for this reason and more. The non kim fans who are sick of the all williams finals will want to get behind Kim.
The jen fans on the other hand of course want jen to win. But the jen fans who do not want another all williams final must decide who they are gonna root for. Do they for once turn their back on jen but only for a short while.
The williams fans may want to root for Jen only for venus' sake, but those who love kim may be in a fix. Can i assume the williams fans who don't like jen will have to bite the bullet and get behind Jen?
Personally i love Venus, serena, jen and Kim in that order and I do not lose whatever happens.
I would really like to hear from the huge fans and not so huge fans of Jen, Kim, and williams.

Go Jennifer!!!!

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

I want Justine to win the tournament, Jenn to make the finals, and don't give a twat about the RG seedings.

i would love to see jen win!!!! she's in a good shape! it would be a shame if she didn't reach the final! it will be a tough and close match, i guess!

Well I love Jenn much more than I dislike the Willy's. In fact I don't really dislike them at all. I am not relishing the thought of YET ANOTHER Williams-Williams final but Kim has a chance next week to prevent Venus from getting the #2 seeding. If she can't do this, and Venus and Serena are good enough to make the final at RG, well you really have to take your hat off to them.

So basically...Jenn all the way!

Anyone that roots against someone (even a fave ) especially for a ranking reason is pretty shallow, in my opinion. I would never root against Jen, even if it guaranteed that V+S didnt meet in the final, which I would not care if they did. If they both got there, they deserved it. Who cares that is is boring to everyone? They earned their berths in those finals.

I want Justine to win, Jen to make the finals... half of me still cares about the seedings. Actually I care more the players health and form.

I can't wait for the French Open

cheer against someone i like, or cheer for someone i dislike, just so there's no williams-williams final? that sounds a tad too childish and narrowminded for me.

i just want something simple: the best woman to win, and great tennis in the process. hopefully that jen for this tourney and jen for RG--god knows she's long overdue for one.

hollywood's girls:

ana ivanovic daniela hantuchova jelena jankovic martina hingis

and... jennifer capriati !!

It doesn't matter what the seedings at RG are.. Like Rob said, if V&S make the final, bravo to them.. It's not necessarily going to be the case however.. expecially considering Venus' form as of late..

Go Jen! Win Berlin!!!

I am tired of seeing the W/W finals, but they have shown that they are the top two players, and they DESERVE to be there.

Having said that, I want to see Jen win a title more than want to NOT see a W/W final.

Kick some butt Jen!

I'd root for Kim in any case, since I think Capriati is a snotty brat.

If Capriati fans don't want another all-Williams final, maybe they ought to root for Jen to stop choking when she plays Serena or Venus.
