Cool M. Molitor v. R. Williams (3 Sets)

Instead of Johnny Mac and Becker; I wouldn't mind seeing this match-up at the US Open in Prime Time.

I would give the edge to MM since I don't think I've ever seen Big Daddy "bring da noize" (or even run; he seems to have a bit of a limp - though it could "a strut").

I'd be rooting for ____________?

Oh check my sig...

Ps. Do you think MM would do something to pin down her hair for the match?

Would Papa Williams stand up straight at any point in the match?

If your fave's coach isn't Richard Williams, that's just her first problem...

i hear that martina was as good as she was because of the MOLITOR BALL!

id go for molitor just to see an excuse. i like richard, but id like to see him put on the spot instead of him picking when he will say certain things.

I'd like to see Richard Williams against Stephano Capriati.

Nah, I could relax and even laugh if MM kicks Papa Willies butt.

Losing to Stephano would be intolerable!!! There's just something about him...

Well maybe mixed doubles of J Cap/S. Cap v. V Willie, R Willie. Just love to see J Cap curse out her daddy.

If you threw in Daddy Dokic for doubles; I'd love to see MM and Richard team up against the other two parents.

CBS make it happen!

Melanie would beat Richard for sure!

Personally I want to see: Stephano Capriati/Melanie Molitor vs. Richard Williams/Alla Kournikova!

Molitor would start out strong, capturing the first set 6-1.

Richard would come on strong in the second set, cut down his UEs, and win the second set in an easy tie breaker.

Richard would be up two breaks, 4-1 in the third, when Melanie retired with an injury, and announced she was suing her hairdresser.

Seriously though, can Richard play? Or could he, in his day? I thought I read once that he'd not played to any competitive level.

I don't know if Richard can play, but I would assume that he might have hit a couple of shots with his kids.

You'd think by osmosis that he would have to be able to crank out a decent serve.

Like I said before, I don't think I've ever seen him run, etc. So I'm not sure what he could do on the court. According to legend he never even thought about tennis until he saw some chick getting an oversized check on TV. Then he saw "$$$" in those tennis rackets.

I really would love to see him against MM.

I'm more curious now than when I posted this yesterday.

Anyone seen Papa Williams play, ever?
