Talking Vote for Elena Baltacha as your Sanex Hero

I don't know what the point of this award is, whether it's for most inspirational or your favourite player. Well I want people to vote for Elena Baltacha because of the fact that she continues to play despite not being fully fit and also for doing as well as she as done with all the illnesses and injuries she's had.
So please vote for Elena at;

http://heroes.sanex.net/us/herovote/

She may not be performing brilliantly at the moment but when fully fit and free from any illnesses I'm sure she will deliver the goods.

Happy Voting

It's takes courage to perform when you are under so much strain like Elena continues to do, and if this award honours a true hero then Elena should win

Yes but Anna isn't playing tennis, having had tonsilitis several times, chicken pox, injuries & liver problems over the last year, and all I'm saying is that is the award is actually for a "hero" or "inspiration", then it should go to someone who fits that catergory not to someone who hasen't done anything spectacular or who hasn't been inspirational over the last few months.

Elena played last week and is playing Fed Cup this week, if you'd bothered to look!

well, i really don't care i like elena baltacha, she has some potential, but a hero to me isnt someone who plays despite a struggle. monica is a hero because she loves the game of tennis, she gives back to tennis through charities and exhibitions, and she is the best

good luck to baltacha anyway...

Well if that's your definition of hero, then all the nominees should win, because all players love the game of tennis

I'm glad she gives back to tennis, through charities and exhibitions, but she won last year, give someone else a chance, Monica is a great player, I am not doubting that, because she is, but she has done very little this year, that's all

over monica's career, she ALWAYS gives back. she has gone through more adversity than almost ANYONE to ever play the sport. she inspires me to play because of her huge heart and her fighting spirit. she is almost 30 years old and yet remains extremely competitive on tour. she doesnt have that many years left on tour so i will vote for her as long as she is around....and she has already sacrificed her injured foot THIS YEAR to help raise money for the OWL foundation...

....so Monica's just going to win this thing every year, right?

Boring.

and where they produce desolation, they call it peace
