A refreshing change...

There was an absolutely gorgeous interveiw with Alicia Molik (well...a snippet of an interview, anyway) in a Melbourne Paper today. I don't have it with me, but it was pretty much Alicia talking about how she played her best and Serna was just TOO GOOD! Why don't players do that more often? They've always got colds, sore backs, bad eyes, whatever! Alicia humbly gave all credit to Serna. But she didn't sound condescending or fake at all (I know...it's hard to tell when you're only reading it), but the way she worded what she said made it sound like it she really meant it and wasn't just giving a rehearsed line to suck up ot the fans and media. Did anyone else read it?

Alicia's #47... I might have to take her off Pre-schoolers and put her on Most Improved! Wow!

Well, at least she won the first set. She still has time to rack up the titles.

It is refreshing when a player gives credit to their opponents, I can't stand the tired or injury excuses by the players and their fans.

Exactly! It's so annoying...I wonder if coaches tell them to do that so they keep hight self esteems or something. I wish they could just admit it when the opposition is better.
