There will be two groups of four players.

Each player in the two groups will play everyone in their group, a total of three matches each.

The two players from each group with the best record, will move onto the Semifinals.

The winner of Group A will face the loser of Group B, and the winner of Group B will play the loser of Group A. The loser being the one of the two who qualified for the Semi's with the worst record.

Then the Championship match will be between the winner of each semi match.

Hope that helps.

sure no problem dude. ok first the top 8 players in the champs race are eligible for this tournament. if some people can't make it because of injuries or whatnot, then it just goes to the next person in line. ok now there are 8 people and they are separated into 2 groups. so players ranked 1,3,5,7 are in one group and all the other players(2,4,6,8) are in the other. now each player playes all the other players in their respected groups, so if you are in group 1 or group A, dunno what they'll call it, you play the other 3 girls in that group. same goes for the other group. now when they all finish playing the other 3 players in their groups, 2 players from each group move on to the semis, and these 4 people are the 4 people with the best winning average. if it's a tie, then i think it goes by how many games each player won, not too sure about that. ok so after that, out of these 4 people, the top player from group plays the bottom player from the other group, and vice-bersa. then the winners of those matches face off for the cup. it's as simple as that

Jelena Dokic.Vera Zvonareva.Tatiana Golovin.Mary Pierce.Monica Seles.Martina Hingis.Anna Kournikova

Well the new Grand Poobah of the WTA wants TO ATPize the championships, god only knows why, which means the draw has been reduced to 8, and it'll be exactly the way the boys season ending is.

thats gonna encourage over playing especially for those on the borderline for qualifying.

they should now make the top 8 qualify by RANK of their BEST 17 and not ALL points.

Good luck to my favs
