I think I did when Steffi played ASV in the Wimbledon final. There were a lot of dramatic points.

yea that was dramatic.

another dramatic match was Steffi-Monica French Open 1992(?)

I got a copy of the US OPEN Highlights Tape 1980-1990!!!

It's cool so far. I watched all thr greats: Nav, Evert, Austin, did not get to gaby and graf yet

Yup! MAny times!

Venus vs Hingis 2000 really was the best match ever for me!!!
Long, beautifully played rallies, with Venus and Hingis being everywhere on the court, and Venus saving that overhead at 15-30, 3-5 in the third set..I am sure I was blue after that point

I have never held my breath and I'm glad I saw the AO semis later than live because Rena would of given me a heart attack.

The match that got me sick was Venus vs Jennifer at the Erricson when the Queen saved 7 match points. I was for sure she was out of it, but she fought the good fight.

I frequently have to remind myself to breathe when Monica's playing a tight match. Talk about being emotionally invested!

Especially then. When I get less oxygen to my brain I start hallucinating that she's going to win.

Definitely this one.

I kept rocking back and forth in my chair, and was all sweaty, and just wouldn't stop until the match was completely over.

Metaphorically speaking, yes I have. I do it sometimes during dramatic moments in the match (ie set points/match points/close tiebreakers..), more so than well played dramatic points.

Literally holding my breath and denying oxygen to my brain? No.

Oh yeah, all the time. Especially for Lindsay matches last year b/c she always got close to winning an important match and then choked big time. During the Chanda, Monica, and Justine matches my heart was racing so fast and I could barely breath. I had to get up and go outside many times to catch get some fresh air lol. Fortunately for me she's gotten over those mental monkeys and doesn't have problems closing out matches - I think.

Can't forget to RG 2001 final either. I was sweating like a pig just watching that match.
