I just loved every sec of it.

Hau rein!
It must be not easy to see a fave retiring. But it's good to see you supported her until the very end, I'm sure she appreciated all the support.

Not every player can say they beat Azarenka and Sharapova en route to two WTA titles.

All the best for Greta the Great.

I also remember watching her R3 match against Serena at the AO...

May she have an amazing post-tennis life and full of blessings.

Re: Greta Arn has Retired!

Greta was really an underachiever, despite captialising on her 2 big oppotunities.

She had a nice game and awesome personality, met her at Sydney a few times and she was heaps friendly.

Goodbye!

Re: Greta Arn has Retired!

I really liked Greta, too. I always felt she underachieved. She had a big serve and good groundstrokes, but you could always exploit her weak movement and I think it's the main reason why she never got ranked any higher.

2 WTA titles on the other hand is quite something and I think she did really well in those two events, beating very good players along the way.

FLAVIA PENNETTA

US OPEN CHAMPION 2015

Thank you for all these moments over the last years! Supported you until your final point!

Never liked her game but she was a really great person so all the best to her in her past-tennis life

I saw the end of that match and poor Greta in tears afterwards - that was just that last straw for her!

But let's face it she was going to be 35 this year and has had a good innings so good luck for the future!
