The Belgian and the Aussie: A Twisted Thread of Love & Tammy Wynette (Cheers!)

Kim may be the world's #2, but she still knows when to stand behind her man...
Quote:
In the weekend before last, the WTA's No. 2 player accompanied her beau, Lleyton Hewitt, to the Australia-Sweden Davis Cup tie. Clijsters occupied her time not by luxuriating in her suite, but by shagging balls, fetching towels and -- get this -- even mixing the Gatorade for the Australian team. ...

I think it's sweet. She really gets behind the Aussie team.

There's nothing wrong with making yourself useful. I seem to recall Lleyton acting as the "human ball machine" for Kim's practice sessions too. They probably want as much time in each other's company as possible evn if one of them is working. Good on them and if other people want to "luxuriate" then good for them too.

Lleyton was at the crows game over the weekend wasn't he? What was he wearing? Apart from the cargos I'm sure he looked great!

Hey Dolly ,

He was indeed at the Crows vs Swans AFL match on the weekend. They only showed two little snippets of him (one signing autographs for people and the other talking on his mobile phone). He was wearing (if memory serves correct) a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and black pants.

Thanks Dear Sounds like he looked worthy! You aussies are so lucky! I am missing Lleyton. Haven't seen him since Kim's match vs Serena in Miami.
Can't wait for Barca tourney!

Dolly, he did look very worthy (as usual). He'll be at the Crows game this week no doubt so I can give you another update if they show him. I'd love it if they showed him and Kim at the footy one day .

Anyway, got to go hang out the washing!!!!

It was nice of Kim to help out the Aussie team... can't say I'm surprised though. I can't imagine she would wanna just sit around in the hotel doing nothing while she could be out on the court doing something... and she'll full of energy as well so she needed something to do... there's a pic of her and Lleyton playing soccer on the tennis court
