Do you string your racket?

This is not a common thread, i just wanted to know how many of US are able to string out racket.

I finished mine like 3 hours ago and inmediately went to play a match, and i wanted to ask that.

BTW I do play with a 16 gauge Alpha string

No, I don't string it myself. I have NO idea how I would. What kind of machine do you use. I just go to Academy, they good for 10 bucks I guess.

I use a Gamma Progression II 602 machine, it costs around 300 dollars i think.

Its great to know how to string your racket, every racket is different and it has to do a lot with the way the strings are set up for each one.

My racket has 18 main (vertical) and 21 crossed.

STRINGS! Now I know where I was going wrong.... cutting back on costs isn't very practical after all when you can't get the ball back.

In junior high and parts of highschool I used to string my racquet. Just as recently as 3 months ago, I help a kid string his racquet in the proshop ?

I am not conceited, I am just convinced

I love having my own stringer. I got a fairly inexpensive one (under $250) but I can't even count how many times I have already used it. It's easy to follow instructions that are included, and once you get the hang of it, it literally takes me about 30-40 min to string my racket. Considering I pop my strings on average 1-2 times a month, it's a quick way to have my rackets available.

That a pretty good time, 30 minutes is the average for me, although once i did it in 15 minutes i was in a rush because i had to play a tournament 30 minutes from the time i started to string it
