PATTY splits with her coach!

here's an article from swiss newsspaper tagesanzeiger.
sorry, but WTF, patty?? . hubert choudury was the man who brought her into the top 20 again after she had fallen down so badly. maybe some problems between him and patty's boyfriend rainer hofmann? bingo!
it's all a bit pathetic IMO.

Runde.

well in manys ways this could be a good thing. i hate to say it but i think if patty starts performing badly again she might see that hoffman is being a destructive influence like she eventually did with harnecker. lets just face it, patty has issues. she is a really nice person and all, but i think that some really bad parenting has to be a factor in all this never ending mess which is patty's personal, and unfortunately tennis, life. i don't think choudry is all that good either, because it was inevitable in many ways that patty would start performing at least half the level that her ability allows for. i really just wish melanie moliter or somebody would take patty under their wing and that somebody would smuggle her out of hoffman land and brain-wash her into looking for normal rellationships with men instead of seeking out father figures all the time.

who knows with patty. i can safely say that i am glad i am not her. i find it so funny when i hear people complaining about the inconsistancy of their favourites because bar perhaps majoli no other player has been more painful to support than patty, and at least iva fans got a grand-slam! she has been my favourite player since i was 13 and she probably always will be, but i will turn twenty at the end of this year, and the years as a patty-fan have taken their toll, to the extant that events like this neither shock or upset me.

Let me say something:

I was at Brasil Open 2002 and after Patty lost to Danilidou, she left the court and she and her boyfriend had a hard discussion in front of a lot of tennis fans.
It was quite nonsense her boyfriend scremed a lot with her.
It was really shocking.

after it she started walking and the guy continues to scremed and she talking with herself.
She was very angry and rush her racket bag and it almost hit my legs.
I was walking and she was on my back.
She left her bag on the floor and she contnied to walk.

It was really shocking.

exactly what I was afraid of... if person has parents that are abusive in someway (and I think Patty's were/are) they often choose an abusive partner poor patty

I am shocked and enraged from reading this - I never had a high opinion of Hofmann but this is the first time I have ever heard about Patty being abused by him

I forgot to say : the path (where they were), was the same path the people (tennis fans) are walking around the courts.

and when she was on court(playing) he made some strange signals to her like he was trying to coaching her.
It was very funny because looked like he pis*#d her off.

another thing, he smoked a lot.
